Panforte comes from an ancient Sienese dessert called "panmelato". The original recipe was embellished when the "apothecaries", ancient pharmacists, added valuable ingredients from the East. Pistachio Panforte is a delicious variant of the classic, with an unmistakable scent. The tasty taste of whole pistachios meets the sweetness of almonds to give life to a unique dough, still rolled out by hand today.

Melon and candied citron 36% (melon, glucose-fructose syrup, citron 9%, sugar, acidifier:
(citric acid) – wheat flour – sugar – pistachio 10% – almonds 6% – glucose-fructose syrup – icing sugar 3% (sugar, corn starch) – starch wafer (potato starch, water, oil of sunflower) – aromas. May contain soy, mustard and other nuts. Keep in a cold and dry place.
