Enrico Serafino's Barbera d'Alba Pajena DOC is produced from Barbera grapes harvested in vineyards in the province of Cuneo in Piedmont. It is aged for 14 months in oak barrels. The colour is a ruby red with violet hues, which we also find in the aroma of fruits such as currants and cherries. The flavour is fresh with a tart but sweetened aftertaste. It goes well with risottos, roasts and mature cheeses.
